1. Why are you interested in this new position with our server?

I have always been interested in the forum side of a server. I like how organized it can be if you can do it the right way.

2. What is your favorite part of playing on this server everyday?

My favorite part of playing on Bethlehem317 is currently interacting with the community. Bethlehem’s community is quite unique I must say. There hasn’t really been any player I have had conflicts with.

3. What could change about our current staff team that could make it better for our players?

Me receiving the Forum Moderator rank would allow more interacting with the Forum community, host official events et cetera.

4. What do you enjoy / not enjoy about your current role?

I enjoy a lot of things about being a Helper, I like helping and supporting people who are in need of so. I don’t enjoy people who try to break the rules on purpose.

5. If you could change 1 thing about your current role what would it be?

I would add on more permissions in-game and on the discord. Allowing the Helpers to help out the higher tier of staff with simple problems or issues. So they can focus on the bigger problems or issues.

6. How would the others in the staff team describe your leadership style?

I have actually no clue what they would think about me, but I know most of them longer than I play Bethlehem, and the way how they comment under my application and staff feedback feels like I do my job right and I can do things on my own. The ones I know longer than today will know a lot about me such as how I work. I have worked in multiple servers as a Manager, where I recruit Youtubers, staff et cetera. That’s probably my only example.

7. What instance have you shown leadership within your current role?

I have been asked to re-do the guides, re-post the updates on the forums more organized and to speak with Youtubers to discuss about advertising on Bethlehem.

8. What types of projects have you worked on with others on the staff team?

Me and @Seittit Gib  are currently “managing” the Youtuber team.

9. What was the most challenging part of your current role with the staff team?

Having to communicate with my fellow staff members about some things I don’t know yet, or with some missing information to a guide for example. This wasn’t as challenging as it sounds but it’s the timezone(s) what makes it quite annoying to work with.

10. How do you plan on using your new position to build a "Player's First" mentality in this server?

Not personally the “Player’s First”, but I want to be the one who will be recognized as a player who spends a lot of his time to the server, forum and discord. Who does a lot to the server, who helps the community a lot.

No, I have not.

What is your previous experience with being a staff member in an online community?
I will not mention any RSPS names but, I have been staff on many different servers and games, so not just RSPS.

I have been staff on multiple Minecraft (LUL) servers, back in the days where I was 14, when Hardcore Factions was popular.
1) I have been an Admin on FaithfulMC for over 5 months, the server had a playerbase of 800+ back then, and now 500+
2) I have been an Mod on Hypixel (I am sure everyone knows that), this server had a 3000+ playerbase back then, and now it has over 22000+ players.

Also I have been staff on 2 Garrys Mod servers, when I was 16
1) I was a Head-Admin on a DarkRP server, which had 2000+ players back then.
2) And on another server where I have been an Admin as well which had a 400+ playerbase.

And finally about the RSPS servers, as I said I am not mentioning any names. This has been spread out since I was 11 to 19.
1) I have been a Owner on 2 servers, where both playerbases reached around 40-100.
2) I have been Co-Owner on a server which stopped after a week because he was money hungry, which I did not even know.
3) I have been a Manager on 6 servers.. Playerbases around 50-200.
4) I have been a Global-Admin and NewsTeam Manager on a server with a playerbase of 300+.

I can PM the staff manager+ some of my old applications to see all my vouches if they'd like.
 

Why do you want to be a Bethlehem staff member, and why do you feel you deserve this rank? (200 words minimum)
I have been a member of the Bethlehem community for a little longer than a week now. And I have been thinking about applying for multiple times and this is finally the day.

I can be the one who can fit this position because of many reasons, one of them is my experience. I have experience with; all sorts of commands, how to execute them. Experience with players - especially when we are located in a big playerbase - I know when I have to do something when it gets too heated, I know how to make a player stop harassing, spamming or flamebaiting. Bigger playerbase servers will have more rule-breakers with them along with a lot of stress. I am happy to say that I can keep doing my job with stress on my head. I also have major experience with forums and discord. I have my own discord server where I create discord servers for people, (discord server-ception!) and so far I know everything other than coding. And I also created a couple of forums for people, fixing permissions; adding sections; etc etc!

I have always wanted to be one of many staff positions because I really enjoy helping players with anything, I feel like I am helpful. When players need me in-game they can PM me whenever they like, I will make time to help them. I will make sure the people who are new to Bethlehem, will feel the positive energy by welcoming them with a nice and warm message which till tell them how to start, some handy information and lastly to the other guides! Because I am very, very active. Not only in-game but also on the discord, and soon-to-be on the forums too! I will be answering questions very quickly and hopefully I can fix every single issue that people have. Otherwise I will need some assistance from a different staff member, but that is okay because as long as the issue gets fixed it's good! I want to show them how friendly I can be, how friendly the community can be. How everyone can be, because if they like the community they will stay.

If you were a helper...
What would you do if you saw someone spamming?
I would tell the player to stop spamming because it violates the rules, this is the player's first warning.
If he continues he will receive a second warning, and if he still continues I will give the player a mute.

What would you do if someone was using offensive language?
I would tell him that that kind of language is not allowed on Bethlehem, this is the player's first warning.
If he continues he will receive a mute.

What would you do if someone was flaming a player?
I would tell the player to stop flaming and ask him what happened before he flamed, maybe it was with a reason.
If it was nothing then I will give him a warning and if he does it again he will receive a mute.

What would you do if someone was flaming a staff member?
A staff member is the same as a player. It works the same way.

What would you do if someone was posting rude comments on the forums?
-I would inform report the content and inform the forum staff depending on how bad it is.

What would you do if you found or were informed about duped items?
I would check if it is actually the truth, if the items are duped. If so I will jail the player so he can not continue duping or spread it around.
After that I will inform higher-tier staff immediately.

What would you do if someone was selling items in the help cc?
I would kindly tell them that selling or buying items in the help clan chat is not allowed.
And if they are not a donator, that I will yell for them.

I'm not sure.. I have a lot of friends who live in Australia. And you know what they say in Australia. No, you don't? Aight.. Roo! Yes right mate, a Kangaroo. Kangaroo, Kanguru. Do you atleast understand a little bit where I'm coming from.. I'm a known RSPS player, mostly in the custom department. I've been playing RSPS servers for more than 8 years now. And I've been managing a lot of RSPS & Discord servers for around 5 years now. Great to hear right? Yes, I agree. I still create free discord servers for people these days and some even pay even though I rarely take payments. That's when you see how many real nice people are in this world. I can't thank every single one of them.

Oh god, remember the OG times with Moparscape. That was the realio dealio, with the monkeys! Anyway, I've been enjoying Custom RSPS servers since forever, I like the way how some are just that unique - if you ignore the servers who steal sources and do nothing else but steal 'n shit. And so far I've been enjoying all kinds of activities in-game. I enjoy the PVMing, the gambling, sometime the skilling (depends on my mood). But hell no, no PKing please, for the love of god. No.
 

Lets talk more about my personal life; as I said before, my name is Dave. I'm currently 19 years old, I will be 20 on January 5th. Can't believe I'm that old already - time goes quick doesn't it. Alright lets move on. I'm a Dutchie, (for the people who don't understand: I live in The Netherlands) I have been studying Business Administrator for over 2 years now and so far it's going great. Getting nice grades and my class isn't a pain in the ass. I've got 2 more years to go for this current study and hopefully I can move up a notch and move over to the university. I also have a full-time job at a gas station, and recently I've been promoted to Manager. So I'll be putting in 12+ hour shifts most of the time. That's what I've been working for for the past year, moving up quickly I'd say.
