i was a moderator in an rsps named mageps but i quit cz after the big update it lost alot of players

ever since i joined everyone was lovely and especially the staff members they helped me alot to advance in this lovely server so i want to be able to help everyone as they did to me and enjoy the game to the full

well nothing much to say to be honest i work as a security guard not married taking care of my mom and dad and play beth most of the time

What would you do if you saw someone spamming?

first i give them a warning if they keep spamming i give the like an hour mute

What would you do if someone was using offensive language?

always start with a warning sometimes i give 2 warnings before i mute/ban someone

What would you do if someone was flaming a player?

i try to fix things between them if the flaming wont stop i give him a temporary mute

What would you do if someone was flaming a staff member?

ill give him a warning and tell him its against the rules first warning will go with a mute if he does it again i give him a ban

try to talk to them and tell them its against the rules if they dont listen i give a mute

Hey Shinox,

Thank you for your application on the Server Support role.
After reading your application i have some concerns.
Your application feels a bit rushed, the example questions are anwered short.
What would you do if you found or were informed about duped items?
You answered this question with "Ban Them." In my opinion this is not the right choice, as server support you are not in the position to make such decision on your own.
We work as a straightforwarding team on bethlehem, where we make such big decisions as a team.
To be fair, those are points to learn and can be worked on.

As a player you are a very active player. you do help players in the help chat, guide them through the game.
And ofcourse, as the nr.1 duo slayer partner shows you are very active overall haha.

Your gameknowledge is good enough to help the new starting players.

Overall i think if you sharpen the rough edges you'd become a worthty player at our staff team.

Hi Shinox,

Thank you for the application to become a Server Support.
I have to agree with Legancy in regards to how rushed you application reads, although I'm sure it was not your intention to do so.
Like mentioned above, the concerns for me would be if you are willing to rush an application then you would also potentially rush into decisions in-game. Which may not be correct or best for the server long term. Reading through your application I believe I read the words or term "Ban" 3 times. As Server Support it is our role to try and develop the community, helping people grow into the game and hopefully, leaving them feeling rewarded or happy enough to recommend our server to others. Banning is something that should be a last resort, and something we as Server Support do not have the power to do so. With regards to it feeling rushed, this is shown with your reply's to some of the application questions. For example the pat of the application

you did not take the time to answer in detail, using less than 50 words.
It would have proven beneficial for you to have taken the time to read through previous applications, both successful and unsuccessful ones to better understand the role you are applying for, and also some of the feedback given to others. you could have then used this information to better reflect yourself in your application and made it read better.

This being said there are positives. your in-game activity is strong. You have a good understanding of the game and you do help out other players both in person and through the chat system. Which in part, is the role of Server Support. All in all I think you are a valuable active member, and with a little time invested in reading through other applications and a little more understanding of the role in its entirety you would make a good member of the team.

Hey Shinox,

First off I wanted to thank you for applying for the role of Server Support as we are in search of new members!
Unfortunately, I have to agree with my fellow staff members in the sense that this application was rushed with very little detail. The way I see it when an application is rushed, tells me that the person writing the application is only interested in making the role and not the extra steps along the way to make sure they are the best fit for this role.
That being said, I also agree with the positives that they have left behind. You are knowledgeable within the game, and I do see you helping others when the opportunity arises.

Overall, I think many things could have been done better on this application which is why I will be recommending the thread to be closed and declined giving you the opportunity to apply again next week giving you more time to think about your answers a bit more.
If it helps at all, previous accepted applications are still available to view for your own use. Please do not copy & paste answers from these, but by all means use these as a tool to better your understanding of the role before it were to begin.
