Average time played per day?
2-5 to 10+ (Depends on specifics, usually more than 5 to 10 hours)
What days of the week are you available to play?
Any day
When did you join Bethlehem?
2020-03-28
Have you had any breaks from playing the server since joining?
Not yet, playing a lot.
What is your previous experience with being a staff member in an online community?
Not on RSPS, multiple GMod servers and other games (MC, MPSPS)
Why do you want to be a Bethlehem staff member, and why do you feel you deserve this rank? (200 words minimum)
Being allowed to have my own say in this, I'd like to introduce myself for the people who don't know me.
Hi, I'm the loudmouth Crims that likes to lend a helping hand and keeps winning random events to the dismay of others.
To be frank towards this question, I don't think there's a deserving factor, more like a being able to help factor.
Generally I try to stick up when there is no staff around on the server, which I personally don't mind. But when I'm making early hours from work and there are new players joining, it can be a tad busy.
Usually I like to simply point the newer players the right way, give them a small upgrade or two to not break their grind, and continue my playing.
However, it's come to my attention that I am really quite enjoying playing some kind of helping role and with the short time I've played I am truly enjoying myself helping the newer players get introduced,
To wrap this up, the reason I'd like to take this position at all is mainly so that the newer players know where to look when there's nobody else around answering their questions, and for the welfare of the server I've come to love over a short period of time.
What are the top 5 qualities that you think a Bethlehem staff member should have
Interest - in the players.
Knowledge - of the rules and game
Availability - to be flexible in both times and situation
Curiosity - finding out what the players truly want
Patience - speaks for itself
Have you ever been infracted (Muted/Jailed/Banned)?
Never
If you answered yes to the above question, what was the reason:
N/A
If you received this rank, would you devote hours of free time to play?
Sure, as usual.
Tell us about yourself (hobbies, occupation etc):
Gaming is my hobby, personally like to watch movies, series and anime too.
I work in International Tech Support as a Brand Ambassador. Quite fun, sometimes a little hard but nice and varied.
If you were a helper.....
I'd try to fill in gaps that others might have missed, and devote myself to making the quality of life of newer players even better.
What would you do if you saw someone spamming?
Depends on the situation.
Simple spamming would be politely asked to stop through the yell chat if its not too bad, after that given a PM.
Picking up from there, if there's little to no change maybe a teleport and talking to the person in private, to see if there's a simple solve.
If not, discuss with other staff possibly higher up to continue with some kind of sanction.
What would you do if someone was using offensive language?
Depends on the language used.
Around the usual time on the server, there is a lot of banter and people calling each other out in a joking manner.
This usually is easy to pick up on and can be ignored if within the rules.
Outside of that, if the person crosses the rules, a warning should be issued and depending on the situation, further action might be required.
What would you do if someone was flaming a player?
Again, depends on the language used.
In this case I'd imagine we're talking about some public chat, it's simply not allowed, as stated in the rules.
PM's are harder to check in this case, I'd probably report this with someone higher up with privilege to check this information.
What would you do if someone was flaming a staff member?
This seems to be a nearly the same question as above, but it also ties in nicely with that idea.
The staff is on the same level as the players, we all have our accounts, the grinds we did.
Usually when stuff like this would happen, there's an easy way to go about this, and that is to treat the whole situation from the same point of view.
What would you do if someone was posting rude comments on the forums?
Inform them of the mistake they made and issue a warning, then inform the forum managers about what's going on and have them decide further action.
What would you do if you found or were informed about duped items?
Issue a warning that this is absolutely not allowed, and would probably contact one of the higher up staff depending on the severity of the duping case.
What would you do if someone was selling items in the help cc?
Kindly refer them to the ::yell channel, as everyone has Donator rank, and that is the correct location for Buying/Selling.
Do you meet the requirements for applying?
Sure do,
