When did you join Bethlehem? Roughly about 2 weeks ago, maybe a week and a half ago.
Have you had any breaks from playing the server since joining? No, I've been quite devoted to learning this servers ins and outs.
What is your previous experience with being a staff member in an online community? Was staff on multiple other servers back in my highschool days, anywhere from support to global moderator. Unfortunately this was a while ago and I do not recall any server names.
Why do you want to be a Bethlehem staff member, and why do you feel you deserve this rank? (200 words minimum)
I would like to be staff because I have a constant drive to help players, and keep a community growing. Since joining the server, I've made constant notes for myself about FAQs, to handle as many constant "new player" questions with the most accuracy. I feel as if I don't want the rank for myself, but more so to be able to be seen as a player the people can turn to for help and advice. I feel I deserve this rank because of all the help I've been doing since day 1. Whether it was answering a quick question, or helping a player gain some gear quicker, I would always try to step up and help.

If you received this rank, would you devote hours of free time to play?
Of course, this is where I spend my free time anyway, so now i'll have even more of a purpose to log in.
Tell us about yourself (hobbies, occupation etc):
We'll clear this up right away, I am a ginger. Born and raised in Canada so we worship the moose god of maple syrup. I'm currently a machine operator for my job, working up to 16 hour days, 3 days a week rotating shifts. Played travel baseball, and coached teams for about 8 years. I've played Runescape for the last 12 years or so. Also was a big WoW player back in the WotLK days. I'm quite nice and easy going, pretty easy to get along with, and pretty dam drama and toxic free. The only other fun fact about me is I was recently in a car accident. So yeah, my life is pretty dull, but if you want any specifics just ask, I'm an open book.
If you were a helper.....
I'd do my best to make sure all players receive the answers they are seeking to the best of my abilities. If I am unable to find out for them, I would reach to higher tiered staff in order to fulfill the desired answer. The community comes first, and making sure your player base is happy, in my eyes, that is a huge thing, and I feel I would be the perfect addition to the team.
What would you do if you saw someone spamming?
In regards to the severity of the spamming, these were my old servers rules... If it's spamming an advertisement, I would instant mute. If it's spamming questions, I would private message that player asking to stop, rather then calling them out on yell. If they continued, a second warning issued after 30 seconds. And finally, if continued still, a 5 minute mute was issued. (we had a command to set certain timed mutes). We would jail the player, teleport to them, and explain the situation. Once the mute was up, we would unjail and let them return. If it happened again within 48 hours, there was no warning, it was a perm mute.
What would you do if someone was using offensive language?
2 warnings for over use of cursing in help CC.
1 warning towards any racist/sexist/homophobic comment.
What would you do if someone was flaming a player?
If it were over yell between the two, I would calmly ask both to take it off yell and to private messages. If one, or both players keep it up, a second warning would be issued. If either player continues from there, I would private message them asking to stop or a temp. mute would be issued
What would you do if someone was flaming a staff member?
Well, it is our rule #1. Flaming staff is a bannable offence. So I would get in contact with a higher tiered staff to resolve this issue.
What would you do if someone was posting rude comments on the forums?
Contact the forums moderator(s) via private messages with links to the posts.
What would you do if you found or were informed about duped items?
Find out all information I can on how it happened/may have happened, report all information obtained to the server owner/developers. Confiscate those items and ::empty them to destroy them. Or give to owner if that's what they prefer we do.
What would you do if someone was selling items in the help cc?
Ask them to kindly take it to ::yell to sell items.
Do you meet the requirements for applying?
All except maybe play time, but I feel I have learned quite a lot in my time playing, and a lot of people seem to be getting great help from me.
